Hunger Games...Catching Fire...Movie

Today I just went to go see Catching Fire. It was soooooooooooo AWESOME! The directors and producers did an awesome,did I mention awesome, awesome job! It was SPECTACULAR! The movie's graphics were great, the actors were great( Jennifer Lawrence +Josh Hutcherson + Liam Hemsworth = PURE AWESOMENESS!), and the movie was, AWESOME,SPECTACULAR,GREAT, INTERESTING,EXCITING,  A LITTLE SHOCKING, AND SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the conversation between Bruno and Shmuel was very...sweet. When Shmuel was asking Bruno those questions about what he found. "Have you found any thing? asked the boy.'Very little.' 'Nothing at all?' ' Well, I found you." It made me ask myself, Who is on the correct side of the fence? Who is the one in charge? Why is Shmuel so sad?

Later on in the chapter when Bruno is talking with Shmuel he was talking about Germany about how they are superior. "Well, because Germany is the greatest of all countries,We're superior." I was thinking, Are they really superior? How did they get to the top? Did they defeat the other countries or did they just kill them all? Was it a good thing to do that? Was it Hitler who did all of this?

"Why are there so many people on that side of the fence?' he asked. 'And what are you all doing over there? Do all those people have a choice being there? Can any of those people escape? Are they really in Poland? I just thought how sad it was how Bruno doesn't know what's going on and thinks that everything is OK. But in a general view, it is not.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

In the book,The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, one noticing that I saw very funny was when Bruno was unpacking with Maria. Well when he was staring out the door and the soldier came out of his father's office,saw Bruno and was thinking about the child, "...eat it,ignore it, or kick it down the stairs." (Page 18)

Another thing that Bruno was saying repeatedly about his sister, was that she was an " Hopeless Case" (Page 10). When I kept seeing that, I was thinking, what does that mean?

One big thing that was going on in my head while I was reading was could Bruno's dad be Adolf Hitler?

One thing that the author does no mention is Bruno's family last name. I just thought because the author did mention that it was HIS FATHER'S soldier. Maybe that is why they have a house near an concentration camp.

Paul!

Many people know I have a Bulldog. He is a 4 year old English-American mix. The scope magazine we have been reading is making me realize what I have to do to keep my bulldog living. Anyways Paul(my bulldog) has been my companion,so I want to make sure my companion is healthy. I feed him good food, I make sure he has plenty of water, and is never out on hot days for a long time.  But his isn't quite as healthy as I wanted him to be. He does have problems breathing sometimes, and has some stuff in his body that makes him have like a breakdown. I just would love my puppy to be the Awesomeness Dog there ever was!

The Lion,The Witch, and The Wardrobe: Ch. 15 Deeper Magic From The Dawn of Time

In chapter 15, the girls are watching the witch finish her evil torturing to Aslan, and now has left to try finish what remained of the war.After the Witch and her army has left completely, Susan and Lucy run over to caress Aslan's dead body,and with the help of little, nice field mice untie him to free him out of the ropes he was in.After pacing around hopelessly, they start to realize that it’s morning and must do something with Aslan. Then they hear a loud noise coming from the stone table, and when they turn they see a joyful, fully revived Aslan. After they start to play with joyful Aslan, he starts to discuss a large travel plan,and while they are on their journey, they find themselves in the Witch’s  courtyard fill with statues in it.

Here is a song that I would think that should have played in the movie, when the stone table was cracking, and the girls didn't have any idea that Aslan was being brought back from the dead.

I Loved CAMP!!!

I really enjoyed camp, but it was tiring. We hiked a lot and walked uphill most up the time. AND the SNOW! I couldn't believe that it snowed for 2 days and the 3rd day was just slush everywhere. But other than that the trip was very fun.I just thought that we needed more warm water! =D

Why Fresno???

       Both of my parents came to Fresno for the same reason. But my mom came with her whole family, because they heard that it was a very great place to live and work. Then my dad came to come to see his brother, because he told him about how the work is, and how great it is to live here. Now my parents live happily in "The Great Fresno, California"!

Hunger Games...MockingJay

War VS Love

Mocking-Jay by Suzanne Collins, is the third book to the series and introduces new challenges in  Katniss's life. As she develops during the story, she realizes that she needs to keep her friends(and family) close, but her enemies closer. She also realizes she needs to be the Mocking-Jay, but deep inside she doesn't really want to. But if it means she gets to protect her loved ones and Peeta, she goes to great lengths to fulfill the position. This book ends in death, but resolves it self by adding more detail into what is happening.  As Katniss tries to solve the problems, she also causes more. As a result, she ends up saying goodbye to the her loved ones.

What has PEMDAS done for ME!

      PEMDAS... If I hadn't found out what order of operation was, I would never understand math. Well I still don't, but PEMDAS helps me. I think that is PEMDAS was never made, I would always have a BIG, FAT F, every quarter. I just want to thank the inventors of PEMDAS, GEMS , and   Order Of Operations.

If I lost in the woods , I would be with...

     If I were lost in the woods, I would like to be with Digory. Why? Because he needs to be bossed around and I am like Polly, so I can being able to boss him around. I also think that he might be a fun person because he's adventurous and has no doubts(sometimes). Other people think that he is irresponsible and dumb, but he is responsible and makes decision, but quick. I also like that he doesn't take NO for an answer, even if that means disobeying Polly or any other bossy person(ME).Another reason is that he knows how to backtalk somebody, but nicely, again, like me. If you doubt me, I understand, Digory isn't a responsible kid all the time, but like  partnered with a person like me or Polly. But he still is fun, responsible(sometimes), and smart.

What happens when you were bad... Olden Days Style

      So when we had that thing last year for our American Olden Day Trade Fair like with the milliners, carpenters, stuff like that. But any ways , when I went to the school- teachers area and saw that there was a girl in a Dunce Cap. It was kind of like a cone shaped hat and the kid had to turned around towards that corner and I asked the "kid teacher", and she said that she was in trouble. So I think when kids got in trouble in the olden days they had to wear a Dunce Cap. OR they got SWITCHED, like when they were talking during class or the got in trouble, they would get hit with a ruler, stick, or just anything that was in the classroom that might hurt. I feel bad that teachers were aloud to do that to their troubled students, but I am glad that are teachers these days can't throw or hit us with things at us or make us wear ridiculous hats. Thank the people who fought to take that punishment away! =p  

A latin Auto-Biorgraphy by Jenni Rivera

      So I just finished this very great auto-biography by the famous Latin-American Jenni Rivera. It was a great auto-biography. But I don't recommend it for a average 6th grader. It has some inappropriate parts, but other than that it's a great book about Jenni Rivera. it's about 290 pages and it's a pretty interesting book. I clearly recommend it to a mature reader! =)

Magician's Nephew...Polly

Dear Reader,                                                                                                                                                    So when I was in the middle of darkness, I really was astonished. It was pitch black and I couldn't see that ugly witch Jadis, Uncle Andrew, Digory, or even that nice cabby and his horse. But then we heard a voice. A gentle voice, but it was strong. Then out of nowhere, stars came out, like that Voice was singing it to life. Then the Voice got stonger and  more things came to life. I thought that maybe we just landed in a new world that can be better than ours.

P.S. That Witch is the ugliest woman in the world. How could Digory think she's prettier than ME!
